I ran Stockholm Full Marathon without practice.
It pretty much says about me.
Tough and a little bit spontaneous.
After getting excited to register myself, so the project began.

The Process of Running Full Marathon Without Practice

  1. Kickoff
    Register full marathon a month before the race.
    (Just believe yourself)

  2. Conduct Desktop Research
    Scan blogs and runners media
    -Focus Areas-
    Runners’ mindsets
    Running forms/pace
    Schedule of pre-race(a week to a day before the race)
    Schedule of race day
    Schedule of post-race day
    Possible injuries
    Recommended gears

  3. Interview the real runner who ran the course
    ”How difficult to run the Stockholm Marathon course?”
    Input: It is a flat racecourse. The challenging spot is the bridge which locates at the end of the course.

  4. Field Research
    To analyze my running form, I visited Runner’s Store in Stockholm. At this shop, my running was recorded by a camera. Through the analysis, I found out that my feet are overpronation; The condition when the foot collapses excessively inward. Thus, I purchased special shoes for that supports my arches.

  5. Create experience mapping
    The key point is 35km point where the energy level drastically drops.
